The Costa del Sol is also known as the Costa del Golf. With 40 golf courses this region is the biggest provider of golf holidays in Europe. In close proximity to Casa Olina are a dozen of golf courses with world-class facilities.
Finca Cortesín is merely located 1.5 km away from Casa Olina. It was voted amongst the top ten best golf courses in Spain and has been the venue for the Volvo Match Play Championships multiple times, one of the most renowned golf tournaments worldwide. This 18-hole golf course is one of the longest golf courses in Spain.
Other close golf courses within a radius of 20km are Dona Julia, Casares Costa, Real Club Sotogrande, La Reserva de Sotogrande, San Roque, Valderrama, Almenara, La Cañada, La Duquesa, Estepona and Valle Romano.
You can find a variety of other activities in the surrounding area. Hikers can find numerous trails under www.casareswalks.eu. Amongst others is the world-famous Caminito del Rey, which reopened in 2015 (www.caminitodelrey.info).
